On July 22, 2025, reports surfaced claiming that Black Sabbath's Ozzy Osbourne had died. The claim was true. According to multiple reputable news sources, the heavy metal legend died at age 76. A statement from his family to the BBC said:

Ozzy Osbourne’s death came as a great shock to many, but conspiracy theories have also begun to run rampant due to a bizarre conspiracy linking him to Trisha Paytas. Ozzy Osbourne ’s family confirmed the death of the rock legend on July 22 and said that he died surrounded by his family.
Osbourne was dad to five biological children with two women, while also the adoptive father of his first wife's son. He had 10 grandchildren at the time of his death.
