Nintendo sold more than 3.5 million units of its flagship Switch 2 gaming system in the four days following its launch, with online stores of major U.S. retailers putting up “out of stock” signs.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is the fastest-selling Nintendo hardware in the U.S. in the four days following its release, according to a statement obtained by IGN from Nintendo. It's outselling the OG Switch 2-to-1 globally.

Nintendo has sold 152 million Switch devices since it was first launched in 2017, creating a games juggernaut.
