It felt completely safe to me. You lay down to check the equipment and there was someone there in the ramp to do an extra check before we took off. We were honestly surprised that at no point during our experience did we feel even the slightest bit nervous.

I'm not sure but there were a few big dudes there when I went. I weigh almost 200lbs and they didn't even look at me twice :)
