1.We would like to do a game drive. Do we need to book it beforehand? Or can we book it right away on site? 2.What time interval should we choose to increase our chances to spot animals?

Not sure about the bookings. Early morning is the best for sighting animals, the guide mentioned at the time we took the game drive. We still saw zebras, cheetah and buck.

Hi you can book at the game reserve because they have a night drive and one at midday and in the morning. No need for a travel agent. Please book early. Thanks you
My wife and I will be traveling to Gabarone in September with our son who will be 18 months old at the time. We have heard plenty of horror stories about Safari close calls and inept guides that will keep us from going into the brush with our son. Of course a trek to Africa would seem incomplete without some wildlife experience though, so can anyone advise is this reserve safe for children? I understand that they do not have elephants or lions (probably our two biggest concerns). What about hippos? Has anyone had any close calls or dangerous moments at the reserve?
