Dr. Kevin M. Woods is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, Nuclear Medicine, Echocardiography and Internal Medicine. Prior to joining Capital Cardiology he was a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army, a Staff Cardiologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington, DC. While there he was awarded the distinction of Master Clinician. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Cardiology.Dr. Woods is particularly interested in preventative cardiology and cardiovascular imaging.
