The front page of the Morikami web site states: "The Yamato-kan, Morikami’s original museum building, is under renovation for new exhibit installations". Based on this I called Morikami and asked when the renovations would be complete and the building reopened for visitors. The person I spoke with on the phone said she had no idea. She said that everything else is open. I understand that but do not want to drive the long distance to visit until the renovations are complete. We would be coming from out of town. I emailed the museum as well last week but have not received a response. Does anyone know when this project will be completed and the Yamato-kan museum building reopened for visitors? Thank you for your help. I appreciate it.
