We love the hiked to the river. We recommend doing that first. The kids loved climbing the terrain. Hamilton Pool was chilly but beautiful.Full review by TravelingTeacher800

I see that the reservation fee is $12 online for 1 car. Plus it says there is a per person fee of $8. Does that mean if there are 2 people in a car, they will pay $12 + $16 for this park?
Do you need a reservation through the week in cold weather? Or can you just go in?

Reservations are required year round. It is $12 for a reservation of up to 8 people. There are additional per person charges in cash as the preserve. Use the Travis County Parks website.
