For more than 100 years, the Gloria Theatre has been a vital part of Urbana’s history and culture. The theatre opened as Clifford Theatre in 1904 and was destroyed by fire in 1941 before being rebuilt as the Gloria Theatre on December 25th, 1941. As a Grandworks project, we are dedicated to restoring this historic landmark theater so it can be enjoyed for generations to come.
