In the beginning of the ride there is a slight drop, that’s purpose is not to get you wet or scare you. The reason for the drop is to take you under the railroad tracks above and into a large building that contains the majority of the ride. Don’t worry and enjoy.

In addition, there are other pirate themed things in the area outside the ride if you have a little pirate with you. There is a show they do right on the street with "Captain Jack Sparrow" and he interacts with the crowd. Check times for when you can view it, but it is several times throughout the day.
