I am planning to visit this museum and to make the most of the attractions yet I am appalled at how bad the website seems to be for booking purposes- no catering for languages and rigidity in it's booking if you don't have a street name but a house name, can anyone advise a way around this or if day tickets are readily available? The response from the museum is wanting/lacking. Thanks very much

The German section of the website says there are always tickets available on the day, from 9am. I turned up at around 10am on a Saturday and got a ticket. However, the queue was quickly growing and by the time I left at 12pm, it was very long and there was a sign saying the wait was 2 hours. So, if you can’t find a way round the booking system issues, my advice would be to go on a weekday if possible and if not, just get there in the first hour or so.
