I have read some do the full 2 miles all the way around and that this is an easier ascent back then going to the falls and going back the way you came. Can someone verify that for me. Thank you!

If taking the loop leave from campground and return on trail that leads to small falls parking lot behind ranger station. It's a little easier that way..
